Our story begins with a shared vision—two legal professionals committed to offering honest, accessible advice in a region that often felt complex and inaccessible to clients. Our legacy
1970 — The Foundation
The journey began with Adv. T.H. Abdul Azeez, Senior Advocate, High Court of Kerala, whose
legal career has spanned more than five decades since his enrolment at the Bar. His values and
professional journey continue to guide the ethos of S&A Legal.
A Distinguished Life in Law
Over the course of his career, Adv. T.H. Abdul Azeez built a distinguished legal practice grounded in disciplined advocacy, principled conduct, and a deep commitment to justice. His contributions to the law and the legal profession have earned him lasting respect within the legal community in India.
Service Beyond Practice
His contribution extends beyond courtroom advocacy, including his service as Chairman of the Bar Council of Kerala and his role in the establishment and development of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kerala reflecting his commitment to legal education and the next generation of lawyers.
Early 2000s — The Next Generation
Following the path set by Adv. T.H. Abdul Azeez, Mohammed Sadique T.A. entered the legal profession in the early 2000s, bringing over 25 years of post-enrolment experience, including extensive Supreme Court of India practice as an Advocate-on-Record, together with regional experience in the GCC. Mohammed Sanooj T.A. joined the profession in 2010, later establishing a cross-border practice between India and the United Arab Emirates with a focus on corporate and commercial legal advisory.
2015 — Expansion into the UAE
After beginning his legal career in India, Mohammed Sanooj moved into the UAE legal market in
2015, working with leading UAE law firms and developing a cross-jurisdictional practice across
corporate, commercial, real estate, employment, and dispute resolution matters. He brings over 15 years of overall legal experience, which now forms the foundation of the firm’s Middle East practice.
2025 — Formal Establishment of S & A Legal
S&A Legal was formally established with a focus on serving SMEs, startups, entrepreneurs,
family businesses, and professionals with clear, practical, and commercially aware legal advice.
2026 — Brand Evolution
The firm’s brand evolved to reflect its core promise: clarity, accessibility, and strategic
partnership — combining legal tradition with a modern, client-focused approach.
