Supreme Court of India | High Court of Kerala | Advocate-on-Record

Overview

Mohammed Sadique is a senior legal professional with over 23 years of post-enrolment experience, including a decade as an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India. As a Founding Partner at S&A Legal, he leads the firm’s India-focused litigation and appellate advisory, while supporting cross-border mandates across the GCC and South Asia.

Sadique has represented clients in a wide spectrum of matters before the Supreme Court of India, including constitutional petitions, special leave petitions (SLPs), writs, civil and criminal appeals, and intellectual property disputes. As an Advocate-on-Record, he is authorized to file and conduct proceedings directly before the Supreme Court—an elite designation conferred upon advocates who pass a rigorous examination and maintain a consistent standard of practice.

His Supreme Court practice includes advising law firms, corporates, and high-profile individuals on strategic litigation, coordinating special leave and review petitions, and handling complex questions of law involving jurisdictional conflicts, statutory interpretation, and enforcement of rights. He has also worked on precedent-setting cases across commercial, regulatory, and constitutional domains.

In parallel with his Indian litigation practice, Sadique has extensive regional experience in the GCC, having served as a legal consultant in the Sultanate of Oman for nearly a decade. He advised on corporate structuring, contract law, and IP enforcement, and handled cross-border matters involving trademarks and brand protection across the Middle East and South Asia.

His intellectual property credentials include trademark prosecution, IP portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting strategy, and successful representation in international domain name disputes, including before the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.

Sadique holds a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from the School of Indian Legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University, where he graduated with top honours. He has also completed specialized certifications in intellectual property law from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Geneva.

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Malayalam, and conversant with Arabic, he brings clarity, depth, and cross-jurisdictional perspective to every matter he handles. At S&A Legal, he leads the firm’s India litigation interface and supports clients navigating appellate forums and constitutional remedies in India, while also advising on transnational commercial and IP mandates.
